Conditions of Use
● The ambient air temperature shall not be higher than 40℃, not lower than -5℃, and the average temperature within 24 hours shall not be higher than +35℃.
● For indoor use, the altitude of the place of use shall be ≤2000m.
● The relative humidity of ambient air shall not exceed 50% at the maximum temperature of +40℃; Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperature, for example 90% at +20℃. The influence of occasional condensation due to temperature change should be considered.
● When the device is placed, the inclination to the vertical plane shall not exceed 5 °.
● The device shall be installed in a place where there is no violent vibration and impact, and places where electrical components are not sufficiently corroded.
● If the user has special requirements, they can negotiate with the manufacturer.

Main circuit solution

According to the General Standard for Electrical Design of Residential Buildings issued by Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Construction, the design capacity of each household of residential buildings is ≥6KW, and the selection of household watt-hour meters should not be less than 5(20)A quadruple width meter. In order to facilitate the centralized management of residential buildings, the meter box is designed as double doors and double locks. The gate and lock are managed by the management personnel, which control the disconnector in front of the meter and the electrical components in the metering box. Each watt hour meter is equipped with a small door, which is locked and managed by the user himself. The operation of the watt hour meter and the card insertion operation can be observed, and the switch behind the meter can be operated to power off the unit indoor.
According to the scheme recommended by Beijing Power Supply Bureau for business expansion, DD862 watt-hour meter, disconnector of Chint or ABB and air switch linked with magnetic card meter are selected for XM distribution box.
According to the architectural characteristics of Beijing, the metering box is designed as 1-4 circuits, with a total of 4 solutions, which are applicable to different unit types.
Installation and use
● After the measuring box arrives at the receiving place, first check whether the package is intact, whether the technical documents and accompanying auxiliary materials are complete, and timely contact the manufacturer to solve any problems found;
● The metering box shall be fixed on the wall according to the size provided;
● Before using the metering box, manually operate the switch handle to check whether it is flexible and free of stagnation. The PE copper bar in the metering box is the main grounding point. It can be used only after the grounding protection wire is reliably connected.
Structural characteristics
The metering box is of thin steel plate welding structure and is installed in a concealed (exposed) and suspended manner. See Table 1 for basic dimensions:​

For the convenience of management, the metering box is equipped with lead sealing column at the gate and observation window at the small door. The surface coating of the metering box adopts the plastic spraying process, and the color can be selected according to the user's needs.
